My late birthday blog

Every year Jesus gives me something special for my birthday and this year he went all out.

One night out with my dog glazing in the sky my heart cried out Jesus I love you so much I want to share your love with people I don’t even know. A thought emerged ‘now how in the world can I do that? And instantly a voice spoke Jesus can do anything. The moment passed.

A week before my birthday I’m building my own web site five days later my site is published to the web. Two days later thirty people came to visit my site and a voice spoke Jesus can do anything my heart began to sing oh the Joy that floods my soul. All things are possible in the Lord (Matthew 19:26) He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).

My next birthday gift from Jesus wow Thank you for this Love Lord. A pretty web site that daughter would enjoy but my heart humbly sighs ‘oh she will probably never read it’ then a phone call the very next day she said ‘Mom I sat down this morning and read your web site every word on every page. I love it mom I read the Lord’s Prayer page, every poem, every blog, and your pet’s page. It’s so pretty you are so good at doing this stuff I want to make one now but it will take forever to look as good as yours.’ My heart did sing oh the Joy that floods my soul.

Jesus gave me a week off from work, Mom’s family Thanksgiving dinner on my birthday, a new Christmas poetry book to send this year, cloths, candy, and fancy kitchen gadgets from Mom, sweets and treats from friends. My favorite gift of all is Love. Thank you Heavenly Lord Jesus.

I made a logo / slogan for fun to put on the bottom of my web pages my base color is pink but couldn’t figure out what my other color was. The fonts on the home page are pink and green to match the banner so I made the logo colors to match. Two web pages need more color so again what are my colors? I tried but nothing worked for me. There was only one color I didn't try.

A voice spoke I pick green then I heard my own voice in memory say to Rodney (co-worker) “We are equal partners on this my color is pink what is your color?” And oh the Joy that floods my soul Jesus is equal partners with me on this web site. He said look at the lay out… Home page (God) Blog page (me) Love page (God) Poetry page (me) Pets (fun). He said what is the name of your site? Inspiration (God) USA (me, screen name janie usa email mj 4 usa,) He said look at your logo a bible and cross (God) on one side a double heart (Jesus and me) on the other side. And oh the Joy that floods my soul. How Great How Sweet Thou Art Heavenly Lord Jesus.

My very first very own web site (yea) can you tell? (ha ha) Built from the blank pages up and still getting the hang of it. There’s no music or flashing lights with one fancy gadget to play with. Just words from the heart, pictures on the wall and a blissful feeling waiting in a message for you. So relax, kick off your shoes, surf, read and enjoy.

Jesus gave me this project and helps me when I’m stuck. He knew I would have a blast because my passion is to write and my fun is to scan and play with photos online. He led me to the software and told me to try it out. He gave me the heart of a writer and the talent to write. He gave me the tools I need and ideas to get me started. By the time I was done and ready to post my site to the web I realized something else. He gave me four of my favorite’s - God, USA, Inspiration (AKA writing), and Pretty are all in my web site.

How do I know Jesus was helping me with my web? Ha ha funny question and here’s the answer, everything I did from start to post was not done by my own power of understanding because I have none when it comes to the web. I followed the gentle whisper of my guide step by step on all but one thing closer to the end. I wanted to try something my way, not once but twice and both times I had to delete more than half of the work already finished and start over rebuilding almost the whole site. Which is a very good example to my last post... ignore the whisper and fix or clean the mess.

I am ever so thankful for the whisper of that sweet gentle spirit that guides me through my day. Because honestly there are times that I would not be able to tie my own shoes without it. When I hear the whisper and ignore it the feeling of regret emerges from the mess I made. Funny how the spirit is always right even when "we think" we can do something our way. Thank you Lord Jesus for your sweet guiding spirit and thank you for cleaning my mess Amen.

Don't you just love the Lord,
There is no greater feeling on earth than to have a blissful moment in Thee.
He knows every whisper in your heart and on your mind every single day.
When something weighs heavy on you He is there to carry the load.
He will clear a path before you and give you a road map to guide your way.

Can you tell we had a super good service in church this morning? (ha ha).

Oh what a beautiful crisp bright sun-shiny day everywhere you go folks are chipper with a little extra spring in their step. It's funny to me how the weather can have such an effect on the emotions of human nature bad weather and rush hour traffic can turn the sweetest of them all into a raging maniac. A beautiful fall day is like a happy pill from mother nature.

We had a good day at work today which is very nice for us because we work in the kitchen, we work hard, we work fast, we eat last and we never break until the last child is fed. A tough job that very few people actually want but it’s great for Moms with kids at home because of the school cafertia hours. Moms can drop off their kids go to work and beat them home.

I am thankful to Jesus every single day for being so very good to me, for loving me and for the price he paid for me.
